“GROWGHANA”
The proposed project aims to address the critical issues of unemployment and underemployment in Ghana by utilizing vertical farming systems to create sustainable employment opportunities and improve vocational training. Targeting marginalized groups, including youth, women and people with disabilities, the project will establish a state-of-the-art vertical farming training center. This facility will be a hub for advanced training in vertical farming, product development, packaging, certification and marketing.

This Erasmus+ initiative explores how gamification can make vertical farming education more engaging and accessible—especially for individuals facing barriers such as disability, migration, or limited access to learning. Through collaborative workshops, stakeholder mapping, and inclusive learning strategies, the project empowers educators to reimagine urban agriculture as a pathway to green jobs and lifelong learning.
